SECTION II-- Book/Marketing Information
Book Description - Please give a brief (100-500 words) description of your book suitable for the intended audience. Please pay special attention to this description as it will be used as the basis for back cover copy and promotional material. If your book is a new/revised edition, please specify in detail how it differs in content or approach from the previous edition.
Features and Benefits - Please list any special features and benefits of your book. Emphasize what makes your book unique, including key words and concepts.
Intended Buyers - Who may be expected to buy your book? If your book has textbook applications, please complete Section III.
Other Countries - Are there any other countries or areas in the world where there is particular interest in the subject matter of your book.
Competing Books - Please list similar or competing books, including the publisher, the year of publication, and the cost (if known). In what ways is your book more up-to-date or different in approach?
Academic Disciplines - To which academic disciplines will the book be most relevant? Please list in descending order.
Special Sales - Are there any special book clubs, business companies, or institutions that might purchase large quantities of your book? Please indicate.
Agency Plan - Would your book appeal to specialty bookstores and/or to the trade section of college bookstores? If so, please list (please provide name of bookstore, address, and trade buyer's name if possible).
Conventions - Do you have any suggestions for conferences or professional meetings (national and international) where the book should be displayed.

Mailing Lists - Are there any specialized mailing lists you would recommend for mailing specific promotional material on your book? (NOTE: It is not necessary to specify major disciplinary organizations such as the American Sociological Association, American Psychological Association, American Political Science Association, etc., unless you wish to call specific sections to our attention. We are primarily interested in specialist organizations - in particular, those small, highly targeted lists that tend to be known only to members of specialized networks.)
Endorsements - Please provide the names/addresses/telephone numbers of individuals who have read your manuscript and would be willing to provide a quotable quote for promotional purposes.
Journal Reviews - Please list all appropriate journals/newsletters that you feel should receive a copy of your book for review. Please include any relevant Sage journals as well.
Additional Information - Please include any other comments you wish to share with our marketing department.
